Application Notes
The specificity of the antibody for properly folded pentameric GluCl has been assayed in Western blot and FSEC. A Fab fragment of this antibody was used to determine the structure of C. elegans GluCl by X-ray crystallography. Binding of the Fab to GluCl does not affect glutamate- or ivermectin- induced activity.
