Specificity
This antibody binds ketamine, a member of class of cyclohexanes, is a dissociative anesthetic, medically used to induce and maintain anaesthesia because it is capable of reducing pain sensations in the body. It induces a trance-like state providing pain relief, dream-like and detached state, sedation, and amnesia. It is also used illegally as a recreational drug.
