Immunogen

The original antibody was generated by immunizing a mouse with electro eluted cross-linked Tau dimers.

Application Notes

Western blot was performed on  recombinant Tau and human brain homogenate using this antibody (US8697076).   This antibody was used for immunogold labeling on aggregated tau samples   (US8697076) (Ward et al, 2013; pmid:23979027). Tissue from the entorhinal cortex   and the hippocampus of Alzheimer’s patients was used for immunohistochemistry using this antibody (US8697076). Tissue from the entorhinal cortex and the   hippocampus of Alzheimer’s patients was used for immunofluorescence with this   antibody (US8697076). Western blot was performed on different deletion   mutants of the Tau protein using this antibody (Ward et al, 2013;   pmid:23979027).
