Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-231 |
Name | Anti-CD39 mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-R22 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | FC |
Species Reactivity | Human |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for human CD39. CD39 could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well. |
Alternative Name | Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1; ENTPD1; NTPDase 1; Ecto-ATP diphosphohydrolase 1; Ecto-ATPDase 1; Ecto-ATPase 1; Ecto-apyrase; Lymphoid cell activation antigen |
UniProt | P49961 |
Immunogen | The mouse version of this antibody was raised by immunizing a BALB/c rat with JY cells. |
Application Notes | To study the expression and distribution of CD39, flow cytometry was performed on PBMCs and splenic e-cells using the mouse version of this antibody (Kansas et al, 1991; pmid:1672348). |
Antibody First Published | Kansas et al. Expression, distribution, and biochemistry of human CD39. Role in activation-associated homotypic adhesion of lymphocytes J Immunol. 1991 Apr 1;146(7):2235-44. PMID:1672348 |
Note on publication | The distribution, biochemical properties, and function of CD39 were characterized with the use of antibodies. |
