Specificity
The antibody is specific for ApoA1. The antibody detects the HDL subtype negatively correlated with CHD and, it does not cross react with irrelevant proteins such as SAA1, β2M and BSA. Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) is the main structural protein of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and its physiological function is to help HDL capture free cholesterol.

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with human ApoA1 recombinant protein.
Application Notes
The specificity of the antibody for ApoA1 protein was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The binding affinity of the antibody was 1.73×10^-10 M. The antibody was employed to establish a detection method for ApoA1. The detection method had higher consistency with the clinical diagnosis results than the existing ApoA1 immunoturbidimetric kit (CN108659126B).
