Cat. No.
MABL-1271
Application
WB, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Cronartium ribicola
Clone No.
Mab7
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody recognizes antigens of basidiospores of the fungus Cronartium ribicola.
Alternative Names
White pine blister rust fungus; WPBR
UniProt
Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with basidiospore proteins.
Application Notes
The affinity of this antibody was identified by ELISA. The specificity of the antibody was ascertained by examining its reactivity in a western immunoblot with the foliar proteins of western white pine (Pinus monticola) and 2 other fungi that commonly infect western white pine foliage. The antibody reacted only to basidiospore proteins. Furthermore, the antibody reacted to proteins extracted from pure fungal cultures and also from infected white pine needles.
