Immunogen
The original antibody was raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with head and neck squamous carcinoma cell lines CA922 and HSC4.
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on cell either untreated or treated with EGF. This antibody was used for a western blot on MDA-MB468 tumor cell line and human primary adult keratinocytes. This antibody was used for a proliferation assay on H292 tumor cells, it showed a EC50 of 0.21 nM. A humanized version of this antibody was used in vivo for H292 and FaDu tumor xenografts, here it showed it was very active and delayed the tumor growth (US8790649B2).
