The original antibody was raised by panning a fab library against FGFR-1(IIIb).
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for a co-culture proliferation assay on HUVEC-Akt cells. It showed a decrease in cell proliferation (Ding et al., 2015; PMID:26116571). This antibody was used for an ELISA on FGFR-1. Here is showed binding to FGFR-1(IIIb) and FGFR-1(IIIc). This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on FGFR-1. Where it showed similair results to the ELISA. This antibody was used in vivo on nude mice. The effect of the antibody was significant weight reduction within 48 hours (US8263074B2).

Note on publication
In the original paper it is shown that basal cell and endothelial cell crosstalk might play a substantial role in maintaining normal airway structure, with alteration of this crosstalk contributing towards smoking-dependent airway remodeling.
