From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody binds to the ED-B domain of human fibronectin.
Alternative Names
EDB(+) FN; ED-B domain of fibronectin;Extra domain-B containing fibronectin
UniProt
P02751
Immunogen
2D-PAGE gel isolated human Extra-Domain containing fibronectin from lysate of human melanoma COLO-38 cells.
Application Notes
Fibronectins are involved in cell adhesion, cell motility, opsonization, wound healing, and maintenance of cell shape. Extra domain-B containing fibronectin has been proposed marker of angiogenesis, has been shown to be expressed in a number of human cancers and in ocular neovascularization in patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
