in vitro, neutralizing, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
varicella zoster virus
Clone No.
RM-2D6
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The original antibody is specific for the gH of varicella-zoster virus.
Alternative Names
VZV; Envelope glycoprotein H
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by vaccinating seven subjects (60 to 71 years old) with Zostavax.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The original format of the antibody was able to neutralize VZV in vitro (IC50 = 0.03 and 0.23 µg/ml, respectively, with and without complement). The original format of the antibody could inhibit cell-to-cell spread in vitro (Sullivan et al., 2018; PMID: 29743372).
