MABL-1893
Application
IP, WB, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
iVHH4
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for wild-type and mutant human huntingtin under native and denatured conditions. The antibody epitope is located between amino acids 49–148.
Alternative Names
HTT; Huntingtin; HD protein; Huntington disease protein
UniProt
P42858
Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing a llama with N-terminal htt protein, followed by phage-VHH display library construction. The antibody was isolated by biopanning against wild- type or mutant N-terminal htt fragment.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the htt by western blot analysis. The antibody could co-immunoprecipitate htt from human HD brain lysates (Schut et al., 2015; PMID: 25294428).
