The original antibody was generated by immunizing alpacas with human IgA, creating the appropriate phage display library, and panning against the original target.
Application Notes
The binding specificity and affinity of the original camelid (alpaca) single-domain antibody (sdAb; VHH) were tested in an ELISA. It exhibited a high affinity for human IgA and a low affinity for human IgG. This antibody was used to generate an anti-human IgA and anti-avian influenza nucleoprotein bi-specific construct together with Ab04650 [A65], and their stability in vivo was compared (CN111116752B).
