This antibody binds mouse IL-10. Interleukin 10 is a major immune regulatory cytokine that acts on many cells of the immune system where it has profound anti-inflammatory functions, limiting excessive tissue disruption caused by inflammation.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing New Zealand white rabbits with recombinant mouse IL-10 protein.
Application Notes
The original rabbit IgG antibody binds mouse IL-10 with a high affinity and has a dissociation constant (Kd) of 1.38×10^(-10) M. A combination of 2H4 and 3F5 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where 2H4 is used as a capture antibody and 3F5 is used as a detection antibody. The sensitivity of mouse IL-10 detection for this pair was reported to be 1.965pg/mL (CN116396384).
