This antibody binds to Interleukin-2, a protein produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. It triggers T-cell proliferation and can stimulate B-cells, monocytes, natural killer cells and glioma cells. The antibody blocks the Il-2:IL-2R-beta interaction.
