Specificity
This antibody specifically binds human IL-21, a cytokine with immunoregulatory activity. It promotes the transition between innate and adaptive immunity. Induces the production of IgG1 and IgG3 in B-cells. IL-21 has potent anti-tumor activity. It is implicated in the generation and maintenance of T follicular helper (Tfh) cells and the formation of germinal-centers. Together with IL6, control the early generation of Tfh cells and are critical for an effective antibody response to acute viral infection

The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with human IL-21 protein.
Application Notes
This antibody can be used for the detection of human IL-21 using ELISA. A combination of antibodies 3G6D7 and 13A6G6 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where 3G6D7 is used as a capture antibody and 13A6G6 is used as a detection antibody (CN117069840B).
