Specificity
This antibody is specific for human interleukin-7 and does not cross reat with IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL- 10, IL-15, IL-21, GM-CSF, and TNF-alpha. IL-7 is a hematopoietic cytokine that plays an essential role in the development, expansion, and survival of naive and memory T-cells and B-cells thereby regulating the number of mature lymphocytes and maintaining lymphoid homeostasis.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with human IL-7 protein.
Application Notes
This antibody can be used for the detection of human IL-7 using ELISA. A combination of antibodies 8E8B10 and 7D1A8 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where 8E8B10 is used as a capture antibody and biotin-labeled 7D1A8 is used as a detection antibody (CN117050178).
