This antibody was raised by immunizing Balb/c mice with sea turtle IgY pirified using immunoglobulin-binding protein-G.
Application Notes
To determine the reactivity of this antibody it was immunoblotted with purified IgY (Rodgers and Rice, 2018; pmid:29787778). This antibody was used as a part of an ELISA created for quantifying bacteria-specific IgY titers in individual turtles (Rodgers and Rice, 2018; pmid:29787778).
