The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant Measles virus N protein.
Application Notes
This antibody can be used for detecting the presence of measles virus in a sample using and IgG/IgM ELISA. The binding of this antibody to measles virus could be inhibited by measles IgG- positive human serum in a competitive ELISA (WO2009124378). This antibody was used for the detecting of measles virus N protein from nuclear extracts and cell lysates using western blot (PMID: 21195346; 22383906). This antibody was also used in the immunohistochemical staining of osteoclasts (OCL) derived from marrow cells obtained from a normal individual, Paget’s disease (PD) patient and MVNP mouse (PMID: 21195346).
