The antibody was raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal 14 amino acids (MGDKPIWEQIGSSF) of NTF2.
Application Notes
Western blotting showed this antibody (IgG1 format) detects both human and Xenopus NTF2. Immunofluorescence was performed on BHK21 cells using this antibody, finding NTF2 is a nuclear protein (Steggerda et al, 2000; pmid: 10679025).
