This antibody was raised by immunising mice with recombinant human omentin.
Application Notes
The specificity of this antibody for both omentin 1 and omentin 2 has been confirmed in two-dimensional Western blot analysis of purified omentin samples (de Souza Batista et al, 2007). This antibody has also been used in a quantitative Western blotting analysis of the relative abundance of omentin 1/2 in human plasma samples (de Souza Batista et al, 2007), and Western blot analysis of the culture medium of human adipose tissue explants (Yang et al, 2006).
