Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody binds the extracellular domain of the human PD-1. PD-1 is an immunosuppressive receptor having a molecular weight of 50 to 55 kD, a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to immunoglobulin CD28 / CTLA-4 family members. It is an inhibitory receptor on antigen activated T-cells that plays a critical role in induction and maintenance of immune tolerance to self. It delivers inhibitory signals upon binding to ligands CD274/PDCD1L1 and CD273/PDCD1LG2.

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant human PD-1 protein comprising amino acids 32-160.
Application Notes
This antibody is highly similar to the commercially available anti-PD-1 antibody NAT105. The binding specificity of this antibody towards human PD-1 was determined using ELISA. The original IgG2a antibody binds human PD_1 with an affinity constant of 7.13X10^9 M^(-1). This antibody is capable of detecting human PD-1 in a western blot assay. This antibody was used in the immunohistochemical staining of samples of T cell lymphomas and B cell lymphomas (CN109293775).
