The antibody is highly specific to PS and doesn't bind phosphatidyl-D-serine or phosphatidyl-L- homoserine. It also shows some affinity to phosphatidyl-serineamide.

Application Notes
The antibody has been reported to function in ELISA (Umeda et al, 1989). The antibody has been used to compare density of lipids in the inner and outer leaflet by SDS-FRL (Murate et al, 2016).
