This antibody binds to the repeating subunits of the PEG backbone. The minimum PEG size that can be bound is ~ 2000 Da. Effective binding is greatly enhanced in PEG conjugates (i.e. PEG-protein, PEG- liposome, PEG-cell, PEG-nanoparticle conjugates).
