Specificity
The antibody is specific for human-RANK-L. RANKL is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related protein that binds to, and activates, the TNF receptor (TNFR)-related protein Receptor Activator of NF-kB (RANK). RANKL acts as the key cytokine that regulates osteoclast differentiation and activation during normal bone remodeling and during disease.

Application Notes
The origina antibody was capable of blocking the interactions between RANKL and its receptor RANK. The original antibody could potentially be used in an ELISA analysis (WO2015030701A1)
