Cat. No.
MABL-2802
Application
inhibition, SPR, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
WBP114_5.20
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for human-RANK-L. The antibody cross reacts with murine RANKL. RANKL is a tumor necrosis factor related protein that binds to, and activates, the TNF receptor related protein Receptor Activator of NF-kB (RANK). RANKL acts as the key cytokine that regulates osteoclast differentiation and activation during normal bone remodeling and during disease
Alternative Names
CD254; TRANCE; RANKL; PAE30; ODF; OPGL; Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 11; Osteoclast differentiation factor; Osteoprotegerin ligand; Receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand; TNF-related activation-induced cytokine
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing Balb/c mice with human RankL protein.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody to human and mouse RANKL was confirmed by ELISA analysis (EC50= 0.26 nM and 0.067 nM, respectively). The antibody could block the RANKL binding to RANK (IC50 = 2.23 nM). The original format of the antibody could inhibit the RANKL- inducible luciferase activity (IC50 = 3.31 nM). The binding affinity of the original format of the antibody to RANKL was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 0.7 nM) (WO2019080909).
