Application Notes
RuvC 5G9/3 (5G9) antibody was initially used to inhibit RuvC from interacting in a complex with other proteins and therefore to demonstrate the importance of this complex' formation in the resolution of Holliday junctions (Eggleston et al., 1997). IP: This antibody was also used to pull down complexes containing RuvC to analyse the interactions of RuvC with RuvA and RuvB (Davies and West, 1998).

This article describes experimets for which RuvC 5G9/3 (5G9) antibody was created. The paper reports application of this anti-RuvC antibody to potentially inhibit creation of the RuvABC complex showing importance of the interactions of RuvC with other proteins in resolution of Holliday complexes.
