The original antibody was raised by immunizing mice with Trx-bhSOD1-A4V.
Application Notes
This antibody was used for an ELISA on b-hSOD1, b-hSOD1-A4V, b-hSOD1-G85R and b- hSOD1-G93A. This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on HEK-293T cells transfected with mutated human SOD1. The antibody was used for immunofluorescence on HEK-293T cells transiently transfected with hSOD1-G93A. The antibody was also used for immunohistochemistry on tissue from a mouse model of ALS, and on spinal cords of sporadic ALS patients, the mice expressed either hSOD1 or hSOD1-G93A. This antibody was used in vivo on mouse ALS models. It showed that the mice treated with the antibody maintained better weight and extended life (US9663586B2).
