This antibody was raised against human TNFα.
Application Notes
This antibody binds to human TNFα with a high affinity (Kd = 0.4 nM) in ELISA analysis, and can block the interaction between TNFα and its receptor (Doring et al, 1994). In addition, this antibody inhibits human TNFα-induced cytotoxicity in several human and mouse cell lines, including murine L929 cells. A peptide derived from the CDR1 of the light chain of this antibody can also inhibit TNFα binding to L929 cells (Doring et al, 1994).
