Specificity
The antibody is specific for VISTA protein. VISTA is an immunoregulatory receptor which inhibits the T-cell response, which may promote differentiation of embryonic stem cells, by inhibiting BMP4 signaling.

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing a mouse with the recombinant VISTA protein.
Application Notes
The antibody 11A4 and the commercial antibody D5L5T were used to stain epithelial vascular sarcoma, placental trophoblasts and urethral carcinoma in immunohistochemistry. Results showed the antibody specificity is equivalent to the commercial antibody. Further, the staining intensity of the antibody 11A4 was higher than the commercial antibody (CN112940125A).
