| Immunogen | The original antibody was generated via phage display from the Griffin.1 library by screening against Rat liver Golgi (RLG) complexes derived from rat liver. |
| Application Notes | The original format of this antibody (scFv) was successfully used in a Western blot and in for in vitro immunofluorescence staining of non muscle Myosin IIA (nmMyoIIA) in HeLa cells (Nizak et al., 2003; PMID: 14617357). Precise characterization of the SF9 target was achieved, defining a very small (3 kDa) epitope within the ~200kDa nmMyoIIA protein, revealing cross-reactivity with closely related proteins of the same and across species (Vielemeyer et al., 2010; PMID: 20727208). |
