The original antibody was selected from   existing phage display libraries.

Application Notes

The original format of this antibody (human   scFv) demonstrated distinct recognition patterns in an ELISA and   immunoslotblot (ISB) assay. Recognition of keratin exposed to increased   concentrations of SM exhibited a maximal signal at 250 μM SM, indicating specific   recognition of alkylated amino acid sequences. However, recognition was   reduced at higher exposure levels (500 μM and 1 mM) but remained higher than   that of unexposed keratin (Bikker et al., 2007; PMID: 17539823).

The original publication explores the   application of phage display in the detection of sulfur mustard adducts in   human callus, demonstrating the successful use of antibody phage display for   immunodiagnostics of a chemical warfare agent. Furthermore, the publication   describes the generation and characterization of clone ID2E1.
