Description
JMJD7 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 339 amino acids (1-316 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 38.3kDa. JMJD7 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
JmjC domain-containing protein 7 (JMJD7) is a member of the
JMJD family. JMJD7 encodes highly conserved proteins with a JmjC domain, which
are part of the cupin metalloenzyme superfamily. JMJD7 was first thought to be
an alternatively spliced isoform of PLA2G4B. It is derived from JMJD7 which is
located upstream of PLA2G4B. Most tissues also express read-through transcripts
from JMJD7 into the downstream PLA2G4B gene, some of which may encode fusion
proteins combining the N-terminus of JMJD7 with PLA2G4B protein.

Formulation
JMJD7 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl
buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
