MTHSFD Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 406 amino acids (1-383 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 44.5kDa. MTHSFD is fused to a 23 amino acid His tag at N-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
MTHSFD, also known as Methenyltetrahydrofolate Synthetase Domain Containing protein, is linked to Pancreas, Annular and Gastrointestinal Defects. It has also been associated with Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Some of the Gene Ontology annotations that are related to the MTHSFD gene are nucleic acid binding and nucleotide binding.

Formulation
The MTHSFD solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 30% glycerol, 1mM DTT and Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4).
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
