Description
PCID2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,
non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 341 amino acids (80-399 a.a) and
having a molecular mass of 39.3kDa. PCID2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus
& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
PCI
Domain Containing 2 (PCID2) is expressed in immature and early-stage B
lymphocytes and regulates the expression of mitotic checkpoint protein MAD2. PCID2
is a component of the TREX-2 complex, transcription and export complex 2, this
complex functions in docking export-competent ribonucleoprotein particles
(mRNPs) to the nuclear entrance of the nuclear pore complex, nuclear basket.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
PCID2 protein solution (1.0 mg/ml) containing 20mM
Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.4M Urea.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
