Description
SHC1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 494 amino acids (1-474) and having a molecular mass of 53.8 kDa. The SHC1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
SHC1 is a member of the SH2 domain family. SHC1 is vital to the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistance in mammalian cells. SHC1 is a signaling adapter which links activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. SHC1 is found in neural stem cells but not in mature neurons.

Formulation
SHC1 protein (1mg/ml) is supplied in 20mM Tris-HCl, pH-8, 2mM DTT, 200mM NaCl, 0.1mM PMSF and 20% Glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
