Description
THYN1 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 245 amino acids (1-225a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 27.8kDa. THYN1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
THYN1, is greatly conserved among vertebrates and plant types. TYHN1 takes part in the induction of apoptosis. THYN1 in the thymocytes was primarily found in the nucleus, as shown in lymphoma cells, demonstrating that the THYN1 is localized in the nucleus, regardless of the cyclic or resting stage of the cell cycle.

Formulation
The THYN1 protein solution (0.5mg/1ml) is formulated in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) 1mM DTT, 100mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
