non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 471 amino acids (35-480 a.a) and
having a molecular mass of 51.8kDa.UQCRC1 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus &
purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction
Ubiquinol-Cytochrome C
Reductase Core Protein I (UQCRC1) is a member of the peptidase M16 family,UQCRC1/QCR1 subfamily. UQCRC1 is a part of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c
reductase complex (complex III or cytochrome b-c1 complex), which is component of
the mitochondrial respiratory chain. UQCRC1 can mediate formation of the
complex between cytochromes c and c1.

Formulation
UQCRC1 protein solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer
(pH 8.0), 0.4M UREA and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
