This antibody specifically binds the amino acids 318-510 in the S1 domain of the SARS-CoV Spike protein. The originally characterized human IgG1 had a binding affinity of KD=4.05 (±1.01) nM.

Immunogen

The original antibody was generated by immunizing the BALB/C mice with the Tor-3 strain of the SARS-CoV.
