This antibody is specific for the mammalian Kv1.4 voltage-gated potassium channel. It has been shown not to cross-react with Kv1.1, Kv1.2, Kv1.3, Kv1.5 and Kv1.6.

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 13-37 of rat Kv1.4.
Application Notes
This antibody has been used in immunoblot analysis of membrane fractions of whole rat and mouse brain and of human cerebral cortex and hippocampus (Andrews et al, 2019; PMID:30667360). It has also been used in immunohistochemical analysis of rat hippocampus sections.
