Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody is specific for the Kv3.1b K+ channel. The Kv3.1b K+ channel is a voltage-gated potassium channel that plays an important role in the rapid repolarization of fast-firing brain neurons.

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 437- 585 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of rat Kv3.1b.
Application Notes
Western blot has been preformed on the brainstem of mice using this antibody (Dagley et al, 2014; PMID:24259518). This antibody has shown to be useful in the immunostaining of the mouse brain (Barry et al, 2013; PMID:23487040)
