This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 1-93 (full-length) of rat S100A.
Application Notes
This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of S100A5 by western blot and immunocytochemistry. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect S100A5 by western blot in adult rat brain membranes and whole brain homogenates from S100A5-tauGFP (targeted deletion of S100A5 and replaced with coding region of tau fused to GFP) heterozygote and KO mice.
