Specificity
This antibody is specific for exon 4 of TRIP8b. It does not cross react with TRIP8b isoforms containing 1a, 1b or 2. TRIP8b is an accessory subunit of hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide- gated (HCN) channels, regulating their cell-surface expression and cyclic nucleotide dependence.

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 1-192 (exon 1a, exon 4 and constant region) of rat TRIP8b.
Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry was preformed on the brains of mice by using this antibody (Foote et al, 2019; PMID:31492750). The antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on HEK293T cells (Foote et al, 2019; PMID:31492750). This antibody was used for western blotting on the proteins from rat brains (Zhou et al, 2015; PMID:25301101)
