Specificity
This antibody is specific for the MMACHC protein. MMACHC is a cobalamin (vitamin B12) cytosolic chaperone that catalyzes the reductive decyanation of cyanocob(III)alamin (cyanocobalamin, CNCbl) to yield cob(II)alamin and cyanide, using FAD or FMN as cofactors and NADPH as cosubstrate.

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 1-282 (full-length) of human MMACHC.
Application Notes
This antibody was used to preform a western blot on lysated mouse embryos (Moreno- Garcia et al, 2014; PMID:24889031).
