Specificity
This antibody is specific for the amino acids 778-910 of the HCN1 protein. HCN1 is a hyperpolarization-activated ion channel exhibiting weak selectivity for potassium over sodium ions. Contributes to the native pacemaker currents in heart (If) and in neurons (Ih).

This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion of protein amino acids 778-910 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of rat HCN1.
Application Notes
This antibody was used in a immunoblotting experiment on mouse neural tissue (Arimitsu et al, 2009; PMID:19563776). Immunohistochemistry was preformed on forebrain tissue of mice using this antibody (Zhou et al, 2013; PMID:23377220). The ganglion tissue of CBA/CaJ mice was used in a immunocytochemistry experiment using this antibody (Liu et al, 2014; PMID:24558054). Immunogold labeling was preformed on coronal sections of the brain of mice using this antibody (Huang et al, 2017; PMID:28071723). This antibody was used in a immunoblotting experiment on rat retinal ganglion cells (Stradleigh et al, 2011; PMID:21456027). Immunofluorescence was preformed on the brain of mice using this antibody (Kole et al, 2015; PMID:26269648).
