MABL-154
Application
WB, IF, IHC
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Rat, Human, Mouse
Clone No.
N76/3
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody is specific for amino acids 778-910 of HCN1. It shows no cross-reactivity against HCN2. HCN1 is a chromatin-binding factor that repress Notch signaling in the absence of Notch intracellular domain by acting as a CBF1 corepressor.
Alternative Names
N76/3R; Atxn1; Spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 protein homolog; Ataxin-1
UniProt

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 778- 910 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of rat HCN1.
Application Notes
This antibody has been used in western blot on the brain of a mouse (Hu et al, 2019; PMID:30649233). Immunohistrochemistry on the brain of a mouse has been preformed with this antibody (Hu et al, 2019; PMID:30649233). The antibody has shown use in immunofluorescence experiments on neurospheres, differentiates cells and cerebral tissues of mice (Edamakanti et al, 2018; PMID:29533923).

Note on publication
Given the importance of this postnatal period for cerebellar development, it was asked whether this region might be developmentally altered by mutant ATXN1.
