This antibody is specific for amino acids 30-95 and 118-180 (lacking VSD domain) of mouse MESD. MESD is a chaperone specifically assisting the folding of beta-propeller/EGF modules within the family of low-density lipoprotein receptors (LDLRs).

This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein of amino acids 30- 95 and 118-180 (lacking VSD domain) of mouse MESD.
Application Notes
This antibody is recommended for detection and analysis of MESD by immunohistochemistry, western blot or immunoprecipitation. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect MESD by immunohistochemistry in adult rat hippocampus.
