This antibody was raised by immunising rabbits, isolating B cells from the immunised rabbits and fusing these with a rabbit plasmacytoma cell line (established by Spieker-Polet et al., 1995) to produce stable hybridomas
Application Notes
This pan-αv-specific antibody has been used to detect αv integrin chains using ELISA and on Western blots (Goodman et al, 2012), and to specifically stain αv integrins in FFPE/TMA material (Goodman et al, 2012; Silginer et al, 2016; Roth et al, 2013). Murine antibodies are typically unable to detect FFPE-embedded integrins.
