Cat. No.
MABL-398
Application
immunoblot, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
BA7.1
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for the 3,5-diaminopyrazinyl moiety of amiloride. Analogs with a benzyl on the 5-positition of the pyrazine ring or with the subsitution of an iodo for the chloro group in the 6- position of the ring don't bind. An analog with a benzyl substituent on a terminal nitrogen of the guanidinium group has an affinity for the antibody similar to amiloride.
Alternative Names
UniProt
Immunogen
The antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with an intraperitoneal injection of an amiloride analogue coupled to BSA.
Application Notes
The antibody has been characterised using immunoblot analysis (Lin et al. 1994) and ELISA.
