Cat. No.
MABL-559
Application
IP
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Bovine
Clone No.
D1
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
D1 has been shown to bind to BSA in panning experiments from phage display. Albumin is a secreted globular protein found in blood plasma and BSA has multiple biochemical applications including ELISAs and immunohistochemistry and is able to increase the stability of proteins and be used as a standard in Bradford assays.
Alternative Names
Bovine serum albumin; serum albumin; albumin
UniProt
P02769
Immunogen
D1 was prepared by isolating anti-p24 scFvs from a phage display library made from a mouse immunized with lysate from HIV-1 infected H9 cells.
Application Notes
D1 was selected for by panning where it reacted postiively on BSA. D1 can also be used as a control in IP and when working with native proteins when conducting studies within a BSA medium.
