The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with purified human C3.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The binding affinity of the humanised version of the antibody to native C3 was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 5.9 nM). The murine and the humanised version of the antibody could inhibit the activation of C3 (WO2004031240A1).
